There is a little loss of stability at full height due to a slight column wiggle but at high shutter speeds it's not noticeable.The one complaint I do have is the weight of the tripod. So I took a chance recently and ordered a SunPak DigiPro CS, which is a really compact and light tripod. Description The Slik quick release post 6121 (618-752) is the replacement 1/4 20 thread QR post for the U212, U212 DX and other legacy tripods. I sold them and now have 4 bogen 3021 or 055s.
