The day was rather hazy, so I didn’t feel I was missing much by not having one of the coveted window seats (book well in advance for those) as there wasn’t much to see. Just before 11:30, I was led to my table in Tin Lung Heen itself. Perhaps I was just lucky that weekend, since, for example, Lung Heen King at the Four Seasons Hong Kong was fully booked both that Saturday and Sunday for dim sum brunch. Weekend dim sum is popular and advance reservations are a must, but fortunately I was still able to make an online reservation for myself for Saturday at 11:30am about 5 days prior. And if you must have dim sum, then walk across to the Wonton House - it’s operated by Secret Kitchen and they serve good dim sum too. They are twice as busy as this place yet their service is efficient and pleasant. Pop over to Grand Tofu across the road if you want some delicious, authentic Asian food. The other thing I noticed was a cluster of them trying to work out what should go to which order whenever a tray of food is brought out from the kitchen.
